Its a re-invention of our family home, and so far, its been all on paper. Work began in October 2010, and the builders have set a cracking pace.
Well, the original 12-month completion is a few months behind, but we're so close to finishing it! (And we're going mental in the rental!)

Craning in the dirt
Everything about buillding on a hill adds difficulty. In this case, we had to try 2 cranes to get the soil up to the level needed for our "front yard".
It will all be worth it come next year when you are sitting out on that lovely lawn, sipping a cold drink, admiring the view with the breeze in your face. xx
